Here’s a cool tool: it’s a comprehensive learning environment purpose-built by educators to provide a superior learning experience and drive strong learner outcomes in higher education. It’s called Engageli, and with built-in research-based pedagogy and data-driven learner engagement, universities and organizations can improve the learning experience and users can create more meaningful connections. 

Founded in 2020 by Dan Avida (see interview here), a serial entrepreneur with over three decades of tech experience, his wife Daphne Koller, former Stanford professor and Coursera co-founder, and Serge Plotkin, emeritus computer science professor at Stanford, the platform is optimized to make it easy for in-person, remote, blended, synchronous, and asynchronous learners to seamlessly learn together.

Unique among online learning platforms, their classroom has learners seated in smaller groups at virtual tables to promote peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and community in classes from small seminars to large lectures. Tables also easily enable instructional approaches like active learning, reflective thinking, and inquiry-based learning.
