In this keynote, Dan shared insights and strategies for leveraging modern tools and pedagogies to facilitate meaningful human connections that drive engagement and business outcomes. As the landscape of work and learning evolves in the age of AI, leaders face increasing pressure to do more with less to achieve their goals while also contending with poor engagement. 

Drawing on his decades of experience scaling high-growth tech companies and insights from Engageli’s work with corporate and educational institution partners, Dan's session provided valuable takeaways for learning leaders looking to leverage technology to drive learner engagement, facilitate human connections, and improve business outcomes.

About the Speaker: Dan Avida

During his career, he has scaled several companies from a small founding team to over $100M in revenues and valuations of over $1B. He also served as Chairman and CEO of EFI, where he oversaw the development of its flagship product from the earliest days and achieved market capitalization of over $3B. Dan was a Coursera board member at the company’s inception. As part of a venture capital firm, he led early-stage investments in several innovative technology companies, including SolarEdge, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEDG). Dan holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, summa cum laude, and is a named inventor in several patents.
