Instructors can create single choice, multiple choice, or text input questions in documents and slides, enabling participants to select one or multiple answers or provide a short response that generates a word cloud on the screen. This functionality enhances engagement and provides valuable insights into learner comprehension.
Engageli's Quick Polls feature enables instructors to rapidly create and save polls for assessing understanding, facilitating icebreakers, and enhancing engagement without the need to share documents or presentations. These polls can be designed for single choice, multiple choice, or text input (word cloud) responses, with results visible to participants and saved for later use.
The Q&A forum is a persistent feature that allows learners to ask questions and receive answers, maintaining threads between live class sessions and Playback Rooms. Users can access all posted questions and responses whenever they log into the classroom, facilitating continuous engagement and clarification of course material.

Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) refers to the meaningful engagement that occurs between instructors and learners in an online or blended learning environment. This interaction includes timely communication, feedback, and support that promotes a deeper understanding of the course material. RSI is essential for fostering a sense of community and enhancing the overall learning experience.
Room mode is the default audio setting in the Engageli classroom, allowing instructors to hear audio feeds from all learners, who can also hear each other regardless of their seating arrangements. This mode is ideal for the beginning of class or for facilitating entire classroom discussions.

Synchronous learning refers to real-time online educational experiences where instructors and learners engage simultaneously in live sessions. This approach allows for immediate interaction, feedback, and collaboration, mimicking traditional classroom dynamics.

Table mode enables learners to hear only their table mates, while instructors will only hear those who raise their hands, fostering focused interaction during small group discussions and activities. This mode is best suited for collaborative projects and other table-based tasks.
A table whiteboard is a collaborative space for learners at individual tables, visible only to instructors visiting those tables. It is useful for group projects, brainstorming, and sharing specific materials, allowing learners to collaborate within their assigned groups.
Teaching Assistants, TAs, can help instructors manage their classrooms during live sessions. TAs have advanced controls and access to more class features than learners. TAs do not have access to the Admin Portal.
The Waiting Room feature in Engageli is a powerful tool designed to give instructors greater control over who enters their virtual classroom. By utilizing the Waiting Room, instructors can admit learners individually or in groups, ensuring that only the intended participants join the session.
